Cha Eun-woo (ASTRO Member & Actor) Enlists for Military Service

Cha Eun-woo (28, birth name Lee Dong-min), a member of the boy group ASTRO and an actor, enlisted in the military on July 28.
He entered the Korea Army Training Center in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province, that afternoon. Cha Eun-woo did not appear before reporters and drove directly into the induction processing center in his vehicle. After completing basic military training at the training center, he will fulfill his mandatory military service in the Army Band. His service period is 18 months.
The day before his enlistment, Cha Eun-woo shared his thoughts on joining the military during a YouTube live broadcast, revealing his newly cut short hair to fans. In the broadcast, he said, "It's strange that a day like this has come for me. This is the shortest my hair has been since I was 2 or 3 years old." He added, "I'll go and return safely. I wish you all good luck in everything you do."
Cha Eun-woo began his entertainment career in 2014 by appearing in the movie 'My Brilliant Life'. He debuted as a singer with ASTRO in 2016, releasing hit songs like 'Crazy Sexy Cool' and 'Confession', and also pursued solo activities. He concurrently engaged in acting, starring in dramas such as 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty', 'True Beauty', and 'Wonderful World'.
